Who This Is For

Built for clinicians who have earned the framework.

Pattern Practice Lab is the post-certification home for FoodClues® Certified Clinicians. Certification taught you the framework. The Lab is where you deepen it — through real cases, a community that holds your standard, and continued exposure to complexity.

✓  PPL is for you if...
You have completed the FoodClues® Clinician Certification by Sovara Health Systems
You are actively applying the FoodClues® framework with your own clients
You want continued case-based practice and exposure to complex presentations
You want a community of certified peers who share your clinical language and standard
You want your reasoning to keep sharpening — not plateau after certification
✗  PPL is not for you if...
You have not yet completed the FoodClues® Clinician Certification — certification is required, not optional
You are looking for initial training in FoodClues® methodology or FRS™ theory
You want access to proprietary Sovara assessment tools or client-facing licensing resources
You are looking for individual case consultation or 1:1 access between sessions
You are not currently seeing clients in an active clinical practice

What's Included

Everything you need to keep developing.

Pattern Practice Lab is structured, consistent, and built around the same framework you are already certified in — applied at full depth across real cases every month.

Monthly live case reviews

90 minutes on the 3rd Friday of each month, 9:00–10:30 AM. Dr. Sams works through a teaching case and 1–2 member-submitted cases, modeling FoodClues® reasoning in real time.

Submit your own cases

Members submit cases 48 hours before each session. Dr. Sams selects cases for live review. Even when yours is not selected, seeing similar patterns worked through in real time accelerates pattern recognition.

Live Q&A throughout

Ask questions about clinical reasoning, troubleshooting decisions, and case navigation as sessions unfold. The discussion is part of the learning — not a separate add-on.

AI-generated session summaries

After each session, receive a detailed recap of cases reviewed, reasoning demonstrated, and key insights to carry forward. Accessible whether you attended live or not.

Full recording library

Access every past session recording. Build a growing reference of FoodClues® pattern reasoning across diverse presentations and complexity levels as the library compounds over time.

Certified peer community

A moderated wins and celebrations page shared by practitioners who hold the same certification, speak the same clinical language, and understand what the breakthroughs actually mean.

What Pattern Practice Lab is not

  • A pathway to FoodClues® certification — that requires completing the full Clinician Certification program
  • Initial training in FoodClues® methodology or FRS™ clinical theory
  • Access to proprietary Sovara assessment tools or client-facing licensing resources
  • Individual case consultation or 1:1 access between sessions
  • A substitute for certification — membership requires completing the FoodClues® Clinician Certification first

Not yet certified?

The FoodClues® Clinician Certification by Sovara Health Systems is the prerequisite for Pattern Practice Lab. Complete the certification — earn the framework, earn the credential, and join a community of practitioners who speak the same clinical language.

Learn About Certification

What Continued Practice Builds

Certification is the beginning, not the ceiling.

FoodClues® pattern-based reasoning deepens the more cases you see. The clinicians who continue developing after certification are the ones who become genuinely exceptional at this work.

Decisions get faster and quieter

You stop second-guessing your sequencing decisions and start making them with increasing speed and confidence — because you have seen the pattern enough times to trust it without deliberating.

Complexity stops feeling like a threat

You handle complex flares and SOS scenarios more fluidly because you have worked through similar presentations with a community that holds the same framework and speaks the same clinical language.

Your clients sense the difference

A clinician who is actively sharpening their reasoning reads cases differently — and clients feel that clarity in the room. Continued development shows up in the quality of decisions and the confidence with which you communicate them.

Renewal stays effortless

Annual case submission for renewal is part of the FoodClues® certification standard. Regular participation in PPL keeps your reasoning documented, your cases rich, and your renewal submissions strong.

Your Facilitator

Dr. Alexis Sams, PT, DPT

Dr. Alexis is the founder of Sovara Health Systems and the creator of FoodClues® — the clinical pattern-recognition methodology you were trained and certified in. Every case she works through in Pattern Practice Lab comes from the same framework she built, applied at full clinical depth.

Pattern Practice Lab is not a secondary offering or a moderated peer group. It is Dr. Sams reasoning in real time, across real cases, every month — giving certified clinicians continued access to the thinking behind the methodology, not just the methodology itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before applying.

Who is Pattern Practice Lab for?

PPL is exclusively for FoodClues® Certified Clinicians by Sovara Health Systems who are actively seeing clients. Certification is a prerequisite — not a preference. The community works because every member shares the same framework and clinical language.

Why is certification required?

PPL sessions work because every member already holds the same clinical framework. Without that shared foundation, case discussions lose depth and the community loses coherence. Certification is what makes the Lab genuinely useful rather than just supportive.

When do sessions meet?

Sessions are held on the 3rd Friday of each month from 9:00–10:30 AM. All sessions are recorded and available in the member library if you can't attend live.

How does PPL support my certification renewal?

FoodClues® Certified Clinicians submit an annual case study for renewal during the first five years of certification. Regular participation in PPL keeps your reasoning sharp, your case work documented, and your renewal submissions strong and straightforward.

Can I submit my own cases?

Yes. Members submit cases via form 48 hours before each monthly session. Dr. Sams selects 2–3 cases per session for live review. Even when your case isn't selected, seeing similar patterns worked through in real time sharpens recognition across your own practice.

How long should I stay in Pattern Practice Lab?

There is no required commitment — cancel anytime. Many certified clinicians stay as an ongoing part of their practice because the case exposure and community are genuinely hard to replicate elsewhere. The reasoning compounds the longer you participate.

What if I can't attend live sessions?

All sessions are recorded and available in the member library. AI-generated summaries are sent after every session, so the key reasoning and insights are always accessible even when you miss the live call.

I'm not yet certified. How do I get there?

The FoodClues® Clinician Certification by Sovara Health Systems is the pathway. It's a cohort-based program that trains you in the full FoodClues® framework — and Pattern Practice Lab will be here when you complete it.
